Quick Take: This was a surprise hit when I was looking for kitty themed games for my daughter's birthday. It's by the same company that made Munchkin so I guess it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that it's well-made, I just didn't expect too much from a speed game. It's novel and fun! You can scale the difficulty to moderate for a two player game to quite intense if you play with five people. The cards are nice quality and the illustrations are excellent. Great little speed game, ideal for younger kids but still fun for more experienced game players.

How to Play: The person who ends with the most points wins. Official game rules call for a dealer each round who is not involved in game play except to flip out cards. They deal a random player card to the other players. Each cat has a specific shape and color and there is a bug of a specific color. The player must then try to slap each card in the game that has a characteristic that matches one or more of the features on their card. Each card collected with a matching characteristic counts as positive one point towards their final score. If they slap a card that matches none of the characteristics on their card, they still collect the card but it counts as negative two points towards their final score at the end of the round. Once all of the cards have been collected you tally your points and the next person takes their turn as the dealer. Once everyone has had a turn as the dealer you tally your net points and whoever has the most wins!

Variations: We do a lot of variations for this game. In theory you're not supposed to play 2 player but you very much can have a 2 player game with one person flipping out all the cards while they play. Also, we don't keep official score for multiple rounds, we just keep track of how many rounds each player has won and stop whenever we feel like we've played enough.
