My name is Anne and I'm a mom of four small children. I was raised on the West Coast and moved to the Midwest about 10 years ago. I grew up playing games with my family, and it used to be one of my favorite things to do with my husband ... until children. I just didn't have the time or energy anymore to play a long game like Monopoly or Settlers of Catan.

 

And then my kids got to game-playing ages and I was so excited. What games would we play together? I was surprised to discover that besides word of mouth and looking through online retail reviews, there really wasn't a convenient and definitive resource for information on children's games. And there are so many out there! Great ones! Plus, there have never been so many options for short and fun games for adults, I just hadn't heard of any of them until I went looking for them. Spending time playing games together has been fantastic for my marriage, although my husband makes disparaging remarks about my victory dances. 

 

The purpose of this site is to provide information about games that can be played in twenty minutes or less, for ages two through adult. I am excited to share reviews of games new and old, and I love when people tell me about their own favorite games.
