Quick Take: Cute, simple guessing game. In our house this was the game of choice for my daughter for three months straight when she was 4 and she still likes to get it out from time to time. She was able to teach it to her friends on her own and play it during play dates. I love it because my son was 2 when we started playing it and he mostly was unable to screw up the game so we could play it around him. You just could never show him the secret card because he would instantly tell everyone what it was. I also love that this game can take as much or as little time as you like, the number of rounds you play is entirely flexible. This game also gets big points because the pieces are virtually unbreakable and if you lose one or two of the tiles you can still play the game with no problems. Note - I have pictured an older version of the game. The link is to the updated version.

How to Play: One person (or team) picks a tile that has a picture of something that is on the board. The other person gets to ask a series of yes or no questions until they’re able to determine what is on the tile. The official rules are 15 turns chances to ask questions and whoever collects three tiles first is the winner.

Variations: I love that even in the official game rules they allow for a number of variations to make the game more enjoyable for different ages of players – unlimited questions for younger players and fewer moves on the board for older players. Collect more than three tiles to win, collect just a couple to win. The only time this game has ended in tears is when my youngest child was a little too involved in gameplay and upset the older, more serious players.
