Quick Take: Excellent alternative to Twister, great way to get some energy out indoors without sacrificing your couch cushions to hot lava imaginative play. If your kid has been watching the Netflix show that this is in no way affiliated with they will be extra excited about playing this (this game actually came out in 2018). I actually used this as an ice breaker activity for a group of adult women and it was a hoot, you don't have to jump around or do anything terribly embarrassing. Yes, some of the rules aren't crystal clear but I LOVE the game theme and I so happy to have a good winter game for kids stuck indoors.

How to Play: Your goal is to be the last person left at the end of the game. You get out if you touch the floor (it's lava) or if you can't get to the correct color of tile in time and they're all occupied.

Variations: There is a cooperative version to this game! So kids can get energy out while playing a game and even remain friends while doing so! You lay the tiles out in a long line from destination A to destination B and you have to jump to each color that is called out without landing in hot lava. Make the course as easy or as challenging as you like. If you can't quite make it to the next tile, tell your teammate it's their turn to go.
