Quick Take: More of a seek and find learning game than a trivia game. All of the info you need in order to answer the questions on the cards is on the game board, you just have to find it. Learn basic facts about each state like location, names, capitals, largest cities, and landmarks. Ideal for elementary age children. This game is a great tool for making geography fun!

How to Play: Technically you win if you collect the most cards but I say you win if your children are winning about geography without tears. On each turn, you spin the spinner and pick your card category. There are four: Fact, Find, Fun, and Figure. Each helps your learn about a specific kind of information about a state. You can choose to set a timer for a certain amount of time and the card must be answered before the buzzer goes off. Once someone has collected 10 cards, the game is over!

Variations: Play as long as you like, who says you have to quit once you get to 10 cards? Or you can do a mini round of 5 cards. You can also leave out the timer entirely which is how we currently play with our 1st and 2nd grade children. For older kids you can set the timer for a minute and have them answer as many questions as possible in that time - speed round!
