Game Like a Mother

Quick Take: It's like darts but with balls. It's a cute concept and has rave reviews - but like darts, it can be tricky and take a while. Unlike darts, the balls are loud and have to be bounced on a table and you have to run after them when they bounce away. The first time we played this was with our 3 year old who was really excited to get to throw balls as part of a game and even he got tired of chasing after them (although in theory, someone ages 7 and up will throw a ball with greater accuracy than a 3 year old). They have a few different versions of the game, this one features a tray that rolls on its base as balls are thrown in. I think the ideal age for someone to play this is someone young and with more energy than me. I probably would have loved this in college. 

How to Play: Draw a card, take turns bouncing balls into the tray, play until someone's balls match the design on the card. Play until someone collects 3 cards.

Variations: You can throw as fast as you can and have more than one person throwing at a time (chaos, but fun). You can pick the cards you go for or choose at random. You can play one vs one or on teams stationed across from each other.
