Quick Take: Grow and collect the most flowers to win! It's amazing the difference a good theme can make. My son likes this game but my daughter loves it. It's a great game to pick up quickly but there is a bit of strategy involved if you want to win.

How to Play: Get the most points, which you acquire by collecting flowers. There are four flower pots on which you lay out flowers. On each turn you must start by drawing one card to perform the grow action. If it matches one of the flowers you get to continue your turn, if it doesn't you have bad luck and your turn is over. Players have three special action tokens that they can use that correspond to the images on the flower pots. These have two properties: they both perform the special action on the pot you select and protect the flower on that pot from being cut by the other player for one turn. When it comes back to your turn you remove the special action token and discard it. Players cut flowers throughout the game and once all the cards have been drawn, the game ends and players tally up their points. You score points both for the size of each of the flowers you have collected and for the variety of flowers. Whoever has the most points wins!

Variations: There are a few official variations in the game rules. If playing with younger children you can omit the special actions and just use the tokens in order to stop another player from cutting a flower from a specific pot for one turn. Another variant is to have the ability to start your turn using a special action instead of the standard growth action. And there is also an option to have a three player version of the game where each player is given two special action tokens instead of three and standard rules apply.
